Level I Support Technician
Job Purpose:
The Level I Technician will be responsible for Tier-1 response to user requests for PC assistance via phone support and ticketing system. End user support will be on a Windows based network within the office and various departments of the Archdiocese of New York, and over 50 remote offices. The Level I Technician relies on experience and judgment as well as pre-established procedures to identify, research, and resolve technical issues presented through level I and II Help Desk incidents.

Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot Microsoft Windows desktop and notebook PCs
- Maintain excellent communication with all end users and other members of the technology department
- Install and configure software
- Provide support for iOS, Android, and Windows smart phone and tablet devices
- Respond to support requests from customers, and document issue resolutions in the help desk ticketing system
- Execute other assigned tasks as delegated by the Associate Director
- Provide VPN Support for remote users
- Perform password resets/unlock
- Walk customers through steps to achieve resolution
- Perform other duties, as assigned

Position Title: Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Purpose: Performs a variety of office functions in support of associate dean & students
Location of Campus: Huntington, New York

Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represents an administrative and academic presence of St. Joseph Seminary in the academic office. Supports associate dean and students, work which includes but is not limited to: filing, photocopying, faxing, document drafting, assisting with preparations for internal/external functions, turning on the video-linked technology with the other campuses.
- Flexible with work hours. Usual schedule, worked on with the associate dean:
Usual hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5pm – 8pm
Most Saturdays during the semester: 8am – 1pm
- Perform other duties as required by the associate dean, academic dean, or the rector.
- Welcomes and directs all visitors to designated meeting location, answers the phone promptly and routes calls to the appropriate person or department.
- Assures the readiness of the academic office for each working day; be ready to welcome the visitors at the designated start time and promptly have all activities fully operational at the start of the business hours.
- Monitors and maintains all office equipment (i.e. copier, fax, and postage machines) and inventory relevant to St. Joseph’s academic office.

The Global Regional School System is looking for an Associate Director of Budgeting

OVERVIEW:
The Archdiocese of New York has reorganized 90 of its elementary schools into a Global Regional School System, with nine geographic school regions. Each one has a local, centralized business office that supports 8-15 schools. The entire GRSS is supported by the Global Regional School System Treasury Operations, which is responsible for the collection, processing, recording, transfer, outflow and reporting of all funds within the regional school system. The GRSS Treasury Operations will be the conduit for all financial reporting. The GRSS Treasury Operation will collect, process, and record data in order to provide a clear financial picture of each region/school. The GRSS Finance and Accounting Services team works closely with school principals to provide direct financial administrative support.
Reporting to the Director of Budgeting and Treasury Operations, the Associate Director of Budgeting primary responsibility is to evaluate, review and monitor the annual budget process and fiscal results.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Assist Director of Budgeting and Financial Operations in oversight of the budgetary activities of the Regional Finance Managers.
- Assist the Director of Budgeting and Treasury Operations in streamlining yearly and monthly budget process.
- Review and analyze proposed budget submissions for accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare monthly actual to budget variance reports.
- Conduct analytical review of financial information on a monthly basis to identify significant budget variance at schools and regions.
- With the Director of Budgeting and Treasury Operations, hold monthly meetings with Regional Finance Mangers to review Monthly Financials and variance explanations.
- Assist the Director of Budgeting and Treasury Operations and gain expertise in all aspects of GRSS financial operations.
- Perform financial analysis & prepare ad hoc reports as requested by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS in Accounting and a minimum of five years accounting experience with at least three years of budgeting experience.

The Catholic Education Advancement Office is looking for a Gift Processing Associate

Responsibilities:
Gift Processing
- Prepare all CEA donations received daily for entry into Raiser’s Edge by Data Entry
- Prepare and distribute audited daily cash report to all CEA staff to ensure accuracy of gift entry by Data Entry
- Provide backup gift documentation daily to all department fundraisers to ensure accuracy of entry and for the generation of donor acknowledgments
- Assist data associate with accurate and timely maintenance of individual, corporate and foundation records and create new donor records as needed
- Track payment on pledges
- Pull reports and audit online gifts on a monthly basis
- Pull reports for all events run by CEA from online donation sites and audit for accuracy
- Transfer CAP PayPal donations bi-monthly
- Manage recurring donor gift payment schedules
- Process all matching gift forms submitted and maintain records on matching gift payments.
- Respond to donor inquiries regarding general contributions to the CEA dept in a timely manner (24 hours)
Accounting and Finance
- Prepare and review journal entries daily
- Review daily bank transaction statements for CEA department
- Assist Controller with input of journal entries into accounting system (Lawson)
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Controller
- Assist Office Manager for the Catholic Education Advancement office as needed
