Primary Responsibility: Provide support to the operations manager of the Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal and Renew +Rebuild campaigns.

Direct Supervisor: Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
- Support operations manager in all operational needs of the Cardinal’s Appeal and Renew + Rebuild.
- Execute mailings internally as well as coordinate with vendors for both campaigns in consultation with operations manager.
- Assist with the preparation and recaps for operational meetings for the Cardinal’s Appeal and Renew + Rebuild.
- Point person for operation support requests for the development department and ensure timely project execution through oversight of student interns.
- Assist with major operational components of both campaigns, including pledge processing, pledge redemption and data coordination, as needed.
- Collaborate on pledge redemption strategies and implementation.
- Assist operations manager with the preparation of campaign reports.
- Draft and edit campaign collateral as needed.
- Provide back-up phone coverage.
- Special projects as needed, including coordination of company cars.
Performance Standards:
- Contribute to improved efficiency and results of the Cardinal’s Appeal and Renew + Rebuild
- Timely execution of the Cardinal’s Appeal and Renew + Rebuild mailings

Primary Responsibility: The Planned Giving Manager is responsible for developing and implementing initiatives to identify, cultivate, and solicit planned gift prospects. With a focus on stewarding current donors, growing the number of new planned gifts, and working with pastors to educate and engage their communities, the Planned Giving Manager plays a crucial role in establishing legacy giving for the archdiocese. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and passionate about the growth of the Church in New York.
Professional Level: At least 5+ years experience in fundraising and planned giving
Direct Supervisor: Chief of Staff to the Executive Director
Responsibilities:
- Research, cultivate, and solicit qualified prospects and donors for planned gifts in collaboration and cooperation with the Executive Director of Development
- Manage and grow the portfolio of 200 Legacy of Faith Donors
- Negotiate terms of planned giving agreements with donors and their advisors, subject to approval of the Executive Director, and forward documents for final approvals after review
- Respond to inquiries and meet with planned gift prospects, current donors, pastors, and parish leadership in one-on-one or group settings
- Design and implement a proactive marketing plan to target planned gifts
- Collaborate with campaign managers to offer planned giving resources with pastors
- Develop promotional planned gift materials for use by the parishes and meet with 2-3 pastors per month to discuss materials and opportunities
- Create, plan, and execute 1-2 new donor and prospect-focused events, including 4-6 will seminars
- Cultivate relationships and create a portfolio of 20 or more allied professionals to work with regarding gift opportunities for their clients
- Collaborate with prospect research team to develop individual donor profiles on qualified planned gift prospects and donors
- Report department activities and accomplishments weekly to the Executive Director of Development and as required to the development office and archdiocesan leadership
- Assist in the management and reconciliation of the budget for the Planned Giving department

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in fundraising and planned giving, with progressively responsible program management
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate, solicit, and close financial agreements with donors
- Analytical skills to research and identify potential planned gift donors
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management are required
- Ability to attend evening and weekend events as required
- Driver’s License required

Summary: The Counselor will work directly with clients in the Supportive Living level of care, engage their immediate family member(s) and supportive significant others, and work collaboratively with clinical directors and other staff, as needed, to meet the client’s individual needs. Additionally, the Supportive Living Counselor will develop individualized service plans, assure coordinated care; and collaborate with the community partners and linkages to assist clients in accessing available and necessary resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide individualized service plans based on an assessment of each client’s strengths, challenges, and needs in consultation with immediate past and/or concurrent service providers.
2. Performs service plan updates and progress reviews every three months as indicated, assessing ability to live independently.
3. Maintains case record documentation in accordance with program policy and procedure and OASAS Regulations
4. Coordinates client care with treatment providers and referral sources, attending treatment-planning conferences and case conference.
5. Monitors residence for cleanliness and safety. Facilitates weekly House Meetings with residents.
6. Provides weekly counseling and/or support with each resident.
7. Ensures referrals and follow-up to community resources, such as vocational/ educational, child care, etc., whether direct or through other providers. Monitors residents’ performance of daily living skills, utilizing community resources, and engagement in self-help; providing assistance, direction, and encouragement as indicated.
8. Provides linkage and coordination with Peer Advocates.
9. Ensures clients and their significant others have been trained in the use of Narcan.
10. Attends staff meetings, transfer case conference, respective treatment case conference, and in-service trainings as scheduled.
11. Maintains current certification by attending relevant workshops and trainings.
12. Submit Monthly Statistics, participate in monthly QA/QI meeting and monitor program improvement plans or Corrective Action Plans as needed.
13. Performs other duties as requested.
